Virtual Tools in Teaching-Learning Processes
Communication is crucial to any company, whether it’s working with clients or teams sharing ideas, obtaining feedback, or swiftly deciding on project deadlines and other details. Virtual tools enable teams to communicate quickly, regardless if they are in another part of the world or in a different location.
This article makes use of bibliometric analysis to study the most influential writings and authors in the field of research regarding the use of virtual tools in the teaching and learning process. Its purpose is to investigate the progress and development of these technologies in academic systems as well as examine the current developments and future possibilities for applications (Villa et al. 2018).
A citation matrix was created using the SCOPUS database. This database contains articles with high recognition in https://vdr-soft.net/how-does-centralizing-approach-in-investor-data-rooms-work/ science, and a wide coverage of literature in all fields. The primary search criteria were: words similar to virtual tools in teaching-learning processes, as well as the words “teaching and learning”.
The most relevant articles were those that were focused on the use of online forums, chats, and teleconferences for teaching and managing the learning process. These articles highlighted the advantages of using these tools and suggested that they could be a great alternative to traditional classrooms. They also stressed that they promote active participation. Additionally, they stressed the importance of incorporating these tools into the academic curriculum, in order to enable students to learn in a pliable manner and acquire practical skills that can be useful in the workplace.
